My dream centerpiece!

I had to post this today, completely from my own bride to be / consumer perspective, because I came across a photo on Style Me Pretty of my DREAM centerpiece.  I’m on a budget and so have been really attracted to the idea of using just a few flowers in each arrangement, whether floating or layered into fruit or non floral decor (my other, more moern dream budget friendly centerpiece is this amazing one hand made of balls of white string with a few purple peonies scattered on top made by Carissa of JL Designs for Utterly Engaged Magazine).  I also believe that this arrangement would be relatively DIY’able if I were to choose that route.

Presenting, my pet inspiration picture, shot by Austin TX based husband/wife team The Nichols, and designed by The Last Petal, whose website I can’t wait to pour over a bit today:

Now were they available I’d use garden roses in this arrangement in lieu of Ecuadorian roses, and maybe sneak a snowberry or two in there as well ; )

janet - That centerpiece on SMP caught my eye too. You can never go wrong with fresh fruit! Holly Heider Chapple had a sweet peach inspired wedding on her blog , The Full Bouquet, on 07.30.2010. http://hollychappleflowers.typepad.com/thefullbouquet/2010/07/bling-and-peaches-in-the-cooler.html
