Adding impact with centerpiece “booster seats”

I’ve been pondering for a while how to add oomph to a mid sized centerpiece.  I am not a huge fan of the round mirrors on the table, but meduim sized, medium height arrangements can easily get kind of lost on a 10 top.

Enter the floral “booster seat” – it turns out, almost anything can be used as a floral pedestal.

Here are some of my favorites:

From Martha Stewart Weddings, a cool graphic box – this could easily be DIY’d with a sturdy cardboard box and wallpaper or thick craft paper:

From Violetta Flowers, a filled vase becomes a platform for a cluster of small arrangements:
