Ostrich Egg Bouquet!

Last week I posted about flowers in unique containers – a clam shell and a cocount shell were the two most exotic I’d seen at that point.  Well, here is one that takes the concept to a whole new level – a bouquet housed in a giant Ostrich Egg!  Admittedly this might not be the most practical bouquet holder of all time (not to mention that I’m not sure where one would procure an Ostrich egg) but I think it’s just so darned cool.

This bouquet was created by Russian florist Elena Dmitrieva.  It’s from Floral Design Magazine’s special supplement Wedding Bouquets – Lessons, Innovations, New Ideas, available on their website as a download for $8.  Well worth it, there is some very far out stuff from around the world contained within!

Lourdes - i’d prefer it outside of the egg…
