Bonus Vintage Book Booster + Cool Flower Variety

Here’s another great use of vintage books, from talented San Diego based florist Paula Rae of Rae Florae, paired with julep cups in a jazzy vintage wedding.  I like how they just give the arrangement they’re under the slightest boost, you could use these under small vases that were otherwise the same height and size to add some variety.  And old books are the perfect candidate to do it – they’re easy to color coordinate with your wedding, readily available at used bookstores, environmentally friendly, and perhaps guests would even take a fancy and want to take them as unique favors.   The more I think about it, the more I love this idea (which means that of course it will TRULY start to crop up everywhere now and by the time my own wedding comes up I will be completely sick of seeing it ; )

And here’s one more very cool flower variety – technicolor green Ranunculus, imported from France, from G Page Flower Company.   I love these! They’re kind of like a flower and foiliage all in one!

Happy Thursday!
