Kumquats and Clementines Continued

Yesterday I posted some lovely fall and wintery arrangements featuring the delicate citrus fruits kumquats and clementines.

In part 2 today, wanted to share some more favorites.   I think they look particularly nice with red flowers – rich and yummy.  This first design is from LA based Dandelion Ranch.  The crescent containers are their signature shape.

I also love this one, from San Francisco based Kuga Designs– loving the kumquats juxtaposed with the wood container:

And a close up:

Here’s another mixture of kumquats (look closely to spot em!) with a rustic wood look.  This is designed by North Carolina’s Salt Harbor Designs and was featured on wedding super blog Snippet and Ink.

Kumquats and their cousins also look fantastic in super traditional, Tuscan style urn arrangements.  Here are two of my favorites.

Exhibit A is from Pennington Flowers in Southhampton.  I love how the clementines just haphazardly hang in this arrangement, and it also gets bonus points for using a chic centerpiece booster seat ; )

And this one is by the household name florist (if there is such a thing) Ariella Chezar, from a 2002 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings (via Anne Sage.com) Aren’t those Icelandic Poppies tdf? (to die for!)

Stay tuned tomorrow – can’t wait to showcase my final installment of favorite kumquat and clementine designs, including some very cool tropical looks with protea.
