Vintage Book Boosters with Citrus & Succulents

I have posted before about my love of vintage books used to boost wedding centerpieces.  I think it’s such a clever solution to add impact to tables for so many reasons – vintage books come in all colors, it’s reusing (as in reduce, reuse, recycle), and the books themselves can be chosen for their meaning for the couple.  In short, this a’int a trend I’m getting tired of anytime soon!

Today I saw probably my favorite example yet of vintage books + flowers.  These are from Sacramento based floral designer Audrey of Botanica Floral Designs. I love the dusty, almost sun baked tones to the flowers, books, and the photos themselves, and I love the contrast of the silvery blue/green succulents with yellow/orange kumquats.  Yes, these combine many, many of my favorite things!

Enjoy these photos, and please swing by the Botanica site, where there is lots more eye candy.
