Andromeda – The Saga concludes (for now)

So before I leave for my own wedding  (and put the blog on hold, the future Mr Floret Cadet has forbidden blogging related activities from the honeymoon ; ) I wanted to finish posting the gorgeous Andromeda designs I’ve collected recently!  I tried to slip andromeda, aka Pieris Japonica in my own bridal bouquet as a last minute stow-away, but it seems it can’t be procured in Colorado in June!

So these pretty pics will have to suffice for me to get my fix…

I love how it looks, both in bloom form and in bud form, with fresh, all white and green types of designs.  I don’t know the source of this first pic, but the bottom is from Floral Verde, one of my favorite designers (and super nice mentor florist to me)

I love these herbacious looking bouquets with andromeda- both are so delicate, and I love the little touches of something blue in each!  That first pic is from a Green Wedding Shoes feature shot by White Photographie with florals by She Walks In Beauty, and the bottom is from none other than Martha Stewart Weddings.

Here is andromeda looking kind of stately and classic with garden roses.  Top bouquet is by Sprout Flowers in Worcester, bottom left from the Little Flower School blog, and bottom right again from Flower Wild.

And here it is in some relaxed, rustic type of designs.  It looks so nice with drooping, draping millet, feathers, ferns, and amaranthus! The top photo is from Bliss Flower Studio, which is the design arm of my other favorite flower blog, Botanical Brouhaha.   The tablescape bottom left is by Flower Wild, also in the Santa Barbara area.   And that super cool bouquet on the bottom right is from A Day In Provence, in St Paul, MN.

And last but certainly not least…I love both of these designs! Andromeda in pave style urn arrangements – both feature brunia and dusty miller, two of my other all time faves.  The beauty on the left is from LA’s JL Designs (major flower crush) and on the right, fromMindy Rice, who is in the Santa Barbara area.
