Today the future Mr Floret Cadet and I are on a plane headed to Colorado, where we’re getting married this weekend! We’ll be on our honeymoon immediately after, and I’m not going to sneak in any blog posts, so it will be late June before I’m heard from again…
I wanted to sign off with the photos I showed my own florist, the talented Denver based Cori Cook.
Here are the inspirations for my bouquet. The top image is from Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine:
Here’s what inspired me for my bridesmaid bouquets – now keep in mind that many of the elements in these bouquets aren’t available in Colorado in early June, but I want warm colored bouquets with some cool/dark accents, and lots of texture- peonies and garden roses will factor in for sure!
Heartbreakingly, I can’t locate the source for the first or the last bouquet right now- as soon as I track them down or someone tips me off, I will happily link and gush!
This bouquet might be my favorite, ever. It’s from San Louis Obispo based April Flowers.
I love it but it’s not super similar to what I requested- it’s included mostly because it includes a coral peony (which will factor into our BM bouquets) and some nice texture:
And finally, a pic of the church where we’re getting married. Although this was also snapped in June, I don’t think we’ll have the good fortune of the tree flowering for us (it’s been cold later than usual this year!)
Be back soon, and a Mrs!
