I can’t help myself

I was waiting for pro pics to share, or for a big inspired “I’m back” post idea to come to me, but I just can’t help myself any longer.  I am indeed going to post some cool flower pics from my honeymoon, pro pics from the wedding, and other personal stuff very soon (as soon as I adjust back from the 9 hour time change, unpack, etc!) but meanwhile, straight from my point and shoot camera to you, I had to share a single photo of my gorgeous wedding bouquet.

Created by Denver Colorado’s Cori Cook, as I told her the day after the wedding, the bouquet was straight out of my (many, detailed, obsessive, ever changing) dreams!

Check it out compared to the inspiration pics I sent her to work with, it’s pretty impressive how she interpreted my requests but still created something original.

My favorite part of the bouquet? Cori surprised me with a variety of flower I didn’t even know existed, the Peony Tulip (how had I not found these things before?!) They were throughout the bridesmaid bouquets, centerpieces, and two made their way into my bouquet.

p.s. the sacred heart is a milagro from Mexican Sugar Skull.  Mr. Floret Cadet and I went on a wonderful trip to Peru last Summer, so it had double meaning for me.
