On my desk this week

I wanted to work with maidenhair fern, which until now I had only admired from afar.  Paired it with some Rosalind David Austin garden roses (will post more photos as they open this week, they turn into lovely, full peony like medium pink blooms), some soft pink/white mini callas with cute green tips, and some green eryngium.  They’re in a little ti-leaf lined candle holder from Dollar Tree.   (After I snapped this photo, I pointed the calla closest to the maidenhair out over it, so it kind of contributes to the cascade effect rather than seeming disjointed- it’s funny how a tiny adjustment can improve an arrangement so much – by then it was time to focus on work, not re-photographing this baby though ; )
