My photo yesterday of my office arrangement was pretty sad, so I offer up some better snaps! The first garden rose started to open to reveal the cupped shape and the crepe papery inner petals, and I’m loving it! I discovered from the David Austin website that you have to remove the guard petals from this variety (Rosalind) to encourage them to open all the way!
I had tons of leftover maidenhair and loved the look of it on its own! It’s extremely delicate, and just one bunch fans out so far, it looked quite substantial in this pitcher:
