On my desk this week- snowberries!

They’re finally really available! (I’d seen just the white ones trickling in over the past few weeks, a bunch here, a bunch there, but when I walked into Mayesh at LAX this morning, I saw boxes of the berries, in pink and white, ready to work it!)

Of course I they were the first thing I grabbed, and they became the basis for this week’s office design of antiqued green hydrangea, pale pink snowberries, spray garden roses (Pierre De Ronsard and I can’t wait to see them open), sherbet green carnations, and red fountaingrass.

Here are pics of what’s on our desks this week, as well as a before and after Radlab shot, because I have so much fun tinkering with my photos now (and I’m learning some subtlety):

Just for fun, here is the same pic, before and after using Radlab to very slightly enhance the image:

janet - Snow berries were never this lovely in the midwest. They were always browning by the time I saw them, so I never bought them. I’ll have to run over to Mayesh in Phoenix and see if they have a good selection!

Kate - Hopefully they will! I’ve seen plenty of browning ones out here too and even on nice bunches there will be several that are past their prime, but they pop off easily.
