Feel Better Matthew

This was an arrangement I did for my former co-worker, who was recovering from back surgery.  It’s sparked a real love of Sandersonia- I can’t wait to get my hands on more, but boy was the stuff expensive! It was imported from New Zealand, but I know some farms in the Pacific Northwest grow it, so hopefully there’s a window of domestic availability where it’s not so sky high!

In this jam packed arrangement it’s paired with multi-colored and variegated ranunculus, my darling kale, some anemones, which looked amazing when they opened fully- the day after I took these photos of course- and what I believe are some sort of leucadendron (I need to go back and check my receipt!)

Jeanine - Love this, Kate! Can’t ever get enough of Sandersonia – and I’m IN New Zealand. Beautiful combination of stuff. Definitely a Leucadendron – perhaps Jubilee Crown? Wish we had Ranuncs like you guys can get…
