Where’s the ^?!

Yes, I went radio silent for several weeks there! Between my primary job, the impending holidays, and some other personal projects, I just needed a break from blogging and flower obsessing.  I will probably blog less frequently in the immediate future, but am still pinning my little heart out on Pinterest, and still working on several exciting upcoming flower projectsthat I will definitely share here when I have pics!

One of them is for this private room at chi-chi West Hollywood resturant Ceconni’s, for a bridal shower that a good friend of mine is hosting.  Between the long table, the marble floors, the cool pattern and texture everywhere- and oh yeah, the massive heart and butterfly installation on the wall, there is so much fun to be had here with flowers!  Can’t wait to share the outcome!

I also have several small, chic weddings coming up that I’m terribly excited about, and I have my very first “supported DIY” bride, with whom I’m working closely to design recipes and order quantities of DIY friendly flowers that a fabulous team including her MOH and mother will assemble from instructions and tips I provide.

It’s all so much fun, and fitting into my life a lot better than the breakneck blogging pace I once maintained ; )

I hope that all of my flower friends out there had a wonderful holiday! Wishing everyone blessings and good fortune in 2012!

botanical brouhaha - Phew! You showed up just in the nick of time, Kate! Holly Chapple and I talked a few days ago and decided that we needed to check on you if you didn’t surface soon 🙂 Glad to know you’re alive and well…and have some exciting projects on the horizon. Missed you!

Kelly Sullivan - So glad you took some time out, and it sounds like you are coming back to your blog with a different perspective- one that bring more joy and less chaos to your life! Can’t wait to see the projects you are working on, and Happy New Year!

Janet - It’s good to see that you’re back! My blog went on a bit of a hiatus over the holidays too.
