los angeles floral design class workshop how to diy little branch garden style floral designer florist

I’m so excited! The ladies of The Little Branch are at last hosting a floral design workshop, and I think they’re going to fill a major niche in LA – we have expensive shop based classes that are fun as a one time activity and certificate programs at community colleges or other floral design schools, but very little in between (Flower Duet in the Southbay is a good exception to that rule)

I can’t wait to take this class because it will get into the nitty gritty of making a Little Branch signature garden style centerpiece, cover lots of basic technique and design philosophy, and use premium flowers (specifically, hydrangea, mums, brunia, celosia, and spray roses, many of my all time faves!)

It sounds like Meg and Annie are going to make these a monthly engagement, which I think is wonderful- at $90 per class including all of the materials and a take home arrangement, one could take them monthly and get lots of working knowledge without going broke or interrupting a regular work schedule.

The first workshop is on Sunday, February 5th from 12 – 2 pm at a studio right off the 11o and the 5 interchange.

I’ll be there, and hope to see some of you there too!

More details and sign up info is located here!

Oh and p.s. – even though I these classes will be more intensive than some others I’ve taken, don’t worry – there will be mimosas ; )
