A Flower Game Winner

The flower game is alive and kicking – I thought it would be hard to find pictures of bouquets and centerpieces that had so many of my all star elements combined, but it hasn’t (perhaps that’s because I stalk the internet and facebook all day long looking at flower pictures?! ; )

This arrangement, by Pittsburgh, PA based contemporary floral designer April Schwietz of Mocha Rose is absolutely gorgeous, and features some heavy hitters: Amaranthus (1 point), Blushing Bride Protea (2 points), Dahlias (2 points), Garden Roses (3 points) and Artichokes (1 point).  That is a whopping total of 9 points!

And I adore this color palette as well.  I’m combing through the Mocha Rose site and blog now, and finding a lot more to love starting with their intro picture, which has Parrot Tuplis, Dusty Miller, Brunia Berries, Anemones, Rannunculus and other berries together in one bouquet…it could be a future record setter!)
