I recently created personal florals for a wedding to take place in LA’s beautiful Topanga Canyon. The bride wanted a really textural, seasonal bouquet, tied in twine with reds, ivories and greens (and succulents were a must!) I also created bouts and corsages and had a blast doing it. Here is the bouquet- it was made with several white and burgundy / red dahlia varieties, a stem of ornamental kale, succulents, ranunculus, burgundy spray roses, and geranium leaves.
Side note: this project fell under my new Designer’s Choice / budget friendly packages for weddings – they are straightforward “a la carte” prices, simple proposals with more flexibility left for me to pick the best seasonal varieties available, and designed for small weddings where a florist isn’t needed on site.
